Job Summary: 

Immediate openings for highly motivated Electrical / Controls Engineering Interns with a desire to work in fast-paced, quality-centered environments.

Will work closely with electrical and controls engineers in developing and designing systems for hydraulic equipment that are cost-effective, meet the specifications of the sales order, and meet the customer’s needs.

Candidates should have good problem-solving, analytical, and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design of electrical schematics and panel layout using AutoCAD Electrical 
  • Programming PLCs using ladder logic
  • Design and building of HMI interface
  • Debug electrical controls during machine startup
  • Specify components for control systems
  • Create new parts in the ERP system
  • Enter bills of materials into ERP systems 
  • Research & Development – research new products and technologies
  • Support other engineers as needed
  • Utilize NFPA, UL, NEC, and ANSI B11 standards

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Ideal candidate will be pursuing an education in electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • High School Graduate or GED 
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and decision-making abilities 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proficient use of personal computers including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
