Mount Carmel, IL – November 13, 2020.  For Immediate Release

Last month, Right Lane Industries (Pacific’s parent company) CEO Eric Mara announced he selected Brian Evans to succeed Chris Shelton as President of Pacific Press Holdings, LLC.  After successfully orchestrating and leading the merger of Pacific Press Technologies and Multipress, Inc., Shelton will move back to his home state of Texas to pursue similar endeavors while being closer to his family. “Chris Shelton did an excellent job merging these two brands while positioning operations, engineering and sales for continued growth in the years ahead” said Mara. Evans will now maintain responsibility for the day to day operations of Pacific and Multipress.

Evans brings with him 20+ years of experience in operations and manufacturing leadership.  He joined Pacific as Operations Manager in January 2016 and was later promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations in September 2019.  Before joining Pacific Press, Evans worked as the Manager of Operations at Dana Incorporated and held several roles of increasing responsibility in both operations and safety for more than 16 years with Toyota.

“Brian’s people-focused leadership style, operations experience, and market understanding are strong assets that will build on the existing success of the Pacific and Multipress brands.  We are very confident in Brian’s ability to lead the team to the next phase of growth, while building customer relationships, engaging in new product development, and continually developing customer focused solutions” said Mara.

“I am honored to have been selected as Pacific’s next President and I look forward to focusing on producing high quality, robust machines that meet the needs of an ever-changing market,” Brian Evans said.  “This commitment to innovation, paired with focus on growing and maintaining highly skilled, passionate team members are what I believe will be the key to our continued success at Pacific.  Along with that, I am extremely proud to be part of a company working so hard to keep the tradition of ‘Building America, from the heart of America’ going strong.”

Evans grew up in Vincennes, Indiana and holds a certificate in Manufacturing Ergonomics from Ohio State University and an OSHA certification from Georgia Tech.
